🎉 Meet the opening speaker for IX PhD Day ICIQ-URV 2025! Prof. Rosa Maria Marcé (RMMR) is a Full Professor in Analytical Chemistry at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). She is the current Vice President of Societat Catalana de Química and one of the top 100 female scientists in Spain.

🎉 Meet the first invited speaker! Dr. Amadeu Bonet (Amadeu Bonet Laplana) co-founded Synkotech Biocompatible Materials and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for this local company, focused on developing biocompatible solutions for wound care, suturing, and cicatrization.

🎉 Meet the second invited speaker! Dr. Cristina Fernández-García (Cristina Fernandez-Garcia) is a Communication and Networking Officer at Oficina C of FECYT, where she works as a liaison between the Spanish Congress of Deputies, the scientific community, and society.

🎉 Meet the third invited speaker! Dr. Manuel González (Manuel González (Gallipato)) is a science disseminator, member of the science comedy group Big Van Ciencia, and currently working as the project manager of ESERO Spain, an educative project from European Space Agency coordinated in Spain from Parque De las Ciencias.

🎉 Meet the fourth invited speaker! Dr. Arianna Brandolese (Arianna Brandolese) was a postdoctoral researcher at ICIQ under Prof. Arjan W. Kleij. She is currently a Junior Group Leader in Sustainable Polymer Chemistry in the Dove Research Group, University of Birmingham, UK.

🎉 Meet the last invited speaker! Dr. Marc Magre (Marc Magre) earned his PhD from Universitat Rovira i Virgili, under the supervision of Professor Montserrat Diéguez. Since 2022, he is a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Toledo, Spain.

🎉 Meet our closing speaker! Prof. Beatriz Prieto-Simón works at Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ) since 2023, as the group leader of the Bioinspired Nanotechnologies lab, focusing on engineering advanced materials for biosensing applications.
