6,200 climate-vulnerable smallholder poultry farmers across Nyandarua will be integrated into the sector’s value chain over the next five years, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between His Excellency H.E Dr. Kiarie Badilisha and Kenya-based Dheiton Ventures Limited.

According to County Executive Committee Member for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Hon. Francis Miring’u, the MoU will be executed through contract farming, with 85 percent of the targeted farmers being women, youth and persons with special needs.
