Action alert! We are working with other Bay Area advocates on a transportation measure for 2026 that will fund transit and street safety. This morning, we heard the Municipal Transportation Agency (MTC) is including highway widening in the measure – this is unacceptable.

Every licensed driver agreed to abide by speed limits and all the other rules of the road before gaining the *privilege* to drive. There should be no complaints about having speeds physically limited at the accelerator. If this is a problem for you, you shouldn't drive.

Last night at 11pm the Board of Appeals voted 3-1 to deny the appeal against the permit that allows the Great Highway weekend pilot. It was a long and nail-biting night with over 30 people giving comments against the appeal.

I spent nearly three hours of my late evening watching absolutely WILD government television and lemme tell you, I have a LOT of questions about political appointees now.
