As the Blue Jays go after their 3rd American League pennant we honour PEI’s Don McDougall whose tenacity led to Toronto landing a franchise in 1976. Don (PEISHOF 2012) was part of a group that was granted an expansion team along with Seattle and was a director for three years.

Tom Wallis (PEISHOF 2006 ) passed away in 2017 but left behind a great legacy in PEI soccer. He was very influential in building the game beginning in 1972 when he arrived on the Island. Born in England much of the success PEI enjoys today in the game is because of Tom.
