Very honoured if unexpected. A great organisation to work with and special thanks to colleagues in SLA Europe who helped me on my way! Looking forward to supporting SLA going forward.

Very excited about re-opening the National Library of Scotland Reading Rooms next week. nls.uk/reopening This will initially be on a booking system basis to Library Card Holder but when it is safe to do so we will look to widen this.

Pleased to now welcome new readers to our Library. Register online auth.nls.uk/join/ (it literally takes no more than a couple of minutes), book a slot, order the material 24 hrs before you need it and we will get you set up when you arrive.

Great to see our readers back in the National Library of Scotland yesterday and in such good numbers. We are currently offering a pre-booked seating approach as we did in 2021. nls.uk/service-disrup… Hope to see many more of you back over the weeks and months ahead.

We're getting some fantastic comments on our "What's your favourite Library Space" thread x.com/natlibscot/sta… Still looking for more though!

Really interesting presentation from Sarah Pittaway on digital poverty and being open to all #rluk22 For some people "open" does not reflect their own ability to engage with libraries

Really interesting talk and follow on discussion about cybersecurity and libraries. Sci-Hub clearly a topic for debate with concerns of network security raised by some but clearly some ambivalence in the sector on whether to refer or not. #RLUK22
