I really enjoyed this discussion and love what Andrew Hsu and Speak are doing with language learning. We’re approaching fully automated on-demand language learning over voice.

Seeing a lot of voice AI companies announce SotA turn detection (VAD) models, but generally without reproducible benchmarks. Has anyone done a rigorous comparison? Or should we sponsor a Great VAD Bake Off? LiveKit Ultravox AI Daily Agora Vapi Retell AI

I don't know who broke fetching a doc title when you paste google docs into notion, but i suspect it was done for the wrong reasons and if so the only appropriate punishment is a 100 year consent decree
