Everyone knows how much I'm a fan of British (& especially London) based crime films, so when I heard that Hyena was being shown Prince Charles Cinema I jumped at the chance as I'd never seen it. And wow, what a tough & excellent film it is. That ending had balls!

SINNERS is so damn good it's got the power to make you fall in love with movies again. Epic, sexy, soulful, cool as hell vampire picture that keeps getting better. Very rare for a true visionary to get the kind of money needed to paint an original horror masterpiece like this.

It's important to understand where you can be yourself, where you are accepted and you don’t feel that you have to behave in a way that you wouldn’t normally, just to fit in. Don’t be around people where you can’t be you. Be you...that's all you can be and the good ones see it✌🏾

My favorite stat here: SINNERS had the highest domestic opening for an original movie since Jordan Peele's US back in 2019. That means the two most recent highest opening weekends for original movies were both ORIGINAL HORROR MOVIES. 🔥
