Let's Talk Dirty... Let's talk about improving software development productivity. Not in the crack the whip, work harder, be more perfect way, but a more constructive approach that teams can engage with and the wider business benefit from. engineering.dunelm.com/lets-talk-dirt…

All hail Roboboss! The beginning of the end? The end of the beginning? ...or just a clickbaity gimick to get some PR? A board position, backed by smart contracts I could sort of buy into...But an AI powered robot CEO does seem a bit much... interestingengineering.com/innovation/chi…

The aim is to be agile, not do agile Technologists can get hung up on what it means to be agile. If you're at the Code First Girls: Codefest event on Friday, come and listen to our tech talk about what what it means to us and how we enable it at Dunelm. See you there!

How important is it to you, to be a Woman in Tech? This week’s tale from Clare Coates is all about her journey and how she balances self-study, a day job, family life and of course keeping her pipeline running! engineering.dunelm.com/coding-like-a-…

Really enjoyed being part of a panel chatting about how to confidently enable agility at the Code First Girls: CODEFEST event recently. A great event helping to power more diversity in technology!

Judgy McJudge Face I really enjoyed judging the entries for the European Software Testing Awards. There were some fantastic entries, including some Dunelm ones (although they were obviously hidden from me). Good luck to everyone who submitted!

Politicians keep using the vague phrase "working people" when talking about who they want to benefit...But why not just say "people"? Specifically excluding kids, the unemployed and pensioners seems a bit harsh ...and of course those with vast amounts of inherited wealth 😲

Going to an awards ceremony on your own may not be everyone's cup of tea, but my fellow judges at the European Software Testing Awards made me feel very welcome as we enjoyed celebrating the success of many companies. More work to do on my mirror-selfie technique though!

Going digital is more than replacing a paper form with an online one, you need to ask why do we need a form... ...and what is a form anyway? #digitaltransformation #alltheway #rethinkpossible

You may have seen the buzz on socials about #chatGPT - a generative AI for dialogue, but I had a play with it at the weekend (cos I'm exciting like that) and it blew my mind 🤯 Pretty amazing results!

I reckon politicians have secretly been using generative AI to write their speeches for ages. 🤖 ✅ Vague, but optimistic promises. ✅ Catchy, but meaningless catchphrases. ✅ Commitment, but non-binding actions. #AIForPM #AllHailOurRobotOverlords
