At the end of my first week back to school I used Screencastify 🎬 to create a recap and reminders video for my special education students and their parents to support their virtual learning. 💻 #edtech

I’ve discovered that students have to learn to use digital tools, how to submit work, and the virtual expectations BEFORE the academics! I plan to continue fun, low-stakes activities that build community while embedding practice opportunities to set Ss up for long term success.

Well this is interesting! Will have to try a few of these out. I used Padlet to share classroom AVID Digital Lockers that students created at our virtual Back-to-School night since parents can’t view our physical bulletin board in class. 💻💡
