The beautifully preserved holotype of Schizophillipsia irvingi (Engel & Morris 1989) found southwest of Barraba, NSW in the lowest Carboniferous (Tournaisian) Namoi Formation. Such a remarkable example of a phillipsiid trilobite.

Latiproetus bowningensis (Mitchell, 1887) from the Late Silurian (Ludlow) aged Yarwood Siltstone Member, Black Bog Shale from Bowning near Yass, NSW. This species is fascinating as it resembles Latiproetus obesus Chang, 1974 from the Early Silurian of Guizhou in southern China.

quick little thingo of the new aussie trilobite: Triarthrus novoaustralis trying to be more okay with imperfections in my art, i still struggle with focusing on fine details which dont really add much to the final composition, even here i admittedly do it a bit #AusPalaeo

Bradoriid #arthropods were an important part of Cambrian and Ordovician #animal communities. A new analysis of bradoriid carapaces determines the importance of relatedness, geography, mode of life, and time in the shape evolution of these animals.

Looking for Middle Cambrian trilobites near Tamworth, NSW. Found this amazing Dorypyge pygidium in an allochthonous limestone block associated with a volcanoclastic matrix.
