This year, Pennsylvania's school districts need at least $378 million in savings from cyber charter reform. The current funding system is deeply flawed and in need of urgent reform. #PABudget

Without a state spending plan, “it’s going to be very difficult for [districts] to hire necessary staff, make needed repairs, upgrade technology and improve curriculum without knowing what their state allocations will be.” #PABudget spotlightpa.org/news/2025/07/p…

All 1.7 million PA public school students will be back in their classrooms in four weeks. The @pasenategop must fulfill their constitutional responsibility by immediately passing a budget that adequately funds all school districts, especially those chronically underfunded.

In the next 2 weeks, almost 1.2M PA students will be headed back to their public schools. Districts have been hard at work preparing for their return, but without knowing state funding levels, they cannot make critical financial decisions about staffing, programs, & resources.

PA Schools Work condemns the flat budget passed by PA Senate Republicans, which would be a devastating cut to public education funding in Pennsylvania. This unserious budget proposal effectively reverses the progress made in addressing educational inequity. Public Interest Law Center

"I’ve seen how inadequate funding affects our communities. Deteriorating facilities, teacher shortages, and limited resources diminish opportunities for our children." - Senator Marty Flynn thetimes-tribune.com/2025/08/12/rur…

In 19 days, 1,445,351 public school students will be back in classrooms all across the Commonwealth. Every day delayed passing a real state budget creates harmful uncertainty for school districts trying to plan their fiscal year.

Next week, nearly 500,000 PA public school students will be back in their classrooms ready to learn. Yet, education funding for the school year is still uncertain thanks to the #PABudget impasse.

In three weeks, all 1.5 million PA students will be back in their public schools. These students are relying on their lawmakers to fulfill their Constitutional obligation in addressing the $4 billion adequacy gap in our public schools.

More than 100,000 PA students are already back in their public school classrooms. Yet, there is still no decision made on education funding in the state budget.

Classrooms across the Commonwealth are beginning to fill up with public school students who deserve adequate funding for their schools. It's a constitutional obligation!

Over 1 million students are back in classrooms across PA in school districts that don't know how much or when they will receive funding from the state. The Senate GOP must return to Harrisburg and pass a budget that fulfills their promises to adequately fund our schools.
