Such an honour to present my work on counteracting implant infection by locally delivered antibiotics at STEM for Britain today. #STEM4Brit

Presenting my work about formation of biofilms in response to locally administered antimicrobial therapy at #BAMC2023 . Great experience listening to all the amazing research at UWE Bristol

"I never thought that we would discover that some bacteria can use viruses (bacteriophages) to form a shield and stop antibiotics from killing them. Understanding the way these shields are formed and work will help researchers take down bacterial defences!" Abul Tarafder

Roaming around Oxford . Had an amazing time at SIAM UK and Republic of Ireland Section student chapter conference as a conference speaker.

Happy #InternationalWomensDay! Thank you to the hundreds of students, colleagues & UofG Alumni from across UofG who sent us their photos to make up our #IWD24 mosaic 💜 We're so proud of all the incredible women that make up #TeamUofG. #OneTeamUofG

Had a great time at #BAMC2024 presenting and listening to the all the interesting research. Newcastle University

It looks like the UofG Maths and Stats building got a little carried away with all its equations! ✍️ Graphics have been added to the building, which were generated by members of staff in the School of Mathematics & Statistics. They were asked to submit handwritten diagrams and

How sophisticated is the maths in AI? Go on, have a guess. Because guessing is what AI itself would do. Terry Tao introduces his Oxford Mathematics London Lecture, a journey through the potential for AI in science & maths. Watch from 5pm BST, Wed 7 August: youtu.be/_sTDSO74D8Q

Thrilled to announce my new role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Agent-based Modelling for Spatial Epidemiology at University of Leeds ! I’ll be modelling how activity, mobility, and behaviour drive cholera spread, while testing strategies to improve treatment and prevention.

Had a fantastic week at BMC-BAMC 2025 presenting my work on how mobility and activity influence cholera transmission. Really enjoyed all the insightful talks and conversations throughout the conference. University of Exeter

Thrilled to share I’ve been awarded my PhD for work on optimising antibiotic delivery to counter biofilm formation on medical implants. Huge thanks to my supervisors Nigel & Sean, and to family and friends. Onward to research, impact, and what’s next. UofG Maths and Stats University of Glasgow
