The summit of Gros Morne Mountain is closed to visitors from May 1 to June 29, 2023 inclusive to protect wildlife during these critical weeks of reproduction and growth. The Summit Trail will re-open to the public on June 30, 2023.

A roadside closure is in effect along Route 430 until July 15, 2023 to allow for the replacement of the Town of Rocky Harbour Water Line. Please see the map for more details.
