How are others leveraging #Revit view filters? I just recently went on a tangent setting them up for a template and think I've got a decent system started - my firm doesn't use any filters currently. #bimstandards #autodeskrevit

Something about finishing a Dynamo script is so satisfying. Now I'm just happy to know I won't ever need to manually export, name, and package .SAT files of seperate parts of my model for consultants!

Fantastic articles. I'm going through a lot of this stuff right now - good habits pay off in the long run, but the hard part is getting the entire team on board with the big picture.

Has anyone come across a plug-in similar to DynamoAutomation that works w/ workshared central models (i.e. is able to open a local copy of a central file)? #revit #dynamo

Anyone else using Notion in the AEC industry? I find it to be the most flexible way to organize my thoughts, projects, and also just my life in general

Any ideas on distributing necessary Dynamo packages to networked users who only use tools via Dynamo Player? Currently using a batch script that runs on startup, checks for a list of packages in the correct folder and installs them from a central copy if not there.

I realized today that this "new normal" is going to be a real test of how flexible and adaptable people are. Those who are willing to change how they work will definitely come out better at the end. It will also be a great test of our collective patience.....

Kia ora world of Dynamo! The #ProjectRefinery team have released a new package called the "Refinery Toolkit" created by matterlab. It contains a bunch of epic new nodes and solvers that will help you pack, visualize and more! Come check it out 🤓 dynamobim.org/refinery-toolk…

Happy #FridayFunDay! Are you using Dictionaries in your #Dynamo workflows yet? In this example, we retrieve furniture families that reside in a room by looking up room name! Made possible with the #Rhythm Package! #BIM #Autodesk #Revit #AEC

Are there any good videos (from AU or otherwise) on creating project dashboards for Revit w/ Dynamo? Trying to learn more about using journals to extract model performance information. #dynamobim #revit

After way too many years, I just learned in Autodesk Revit that when you are in the MOVE command you can hold down Control and you transition to the COPY command and vice versa. In the screenshot, using the Move command to Copy and using Copy to Move.

The walls are thin! Find the partition walls that separate specific rooms. This illustrates the use of dictionaries within CellComplexes in Topologic. Dynamo definition at: cf-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal… (Frans Magnusson Hope this helps and you can translate to grasshopper.)

A small architectural firm were told by consultants they needed to memorize 20+ acronyms to properly understand what BIM is. You actually don't need to learn any of this fancy jargon. Let's keep it simple. 😎 bit.ly/3rbRJuo #revit #bim #architecture
