Started our summer league off tonight with 2 wins. Led in scoring by Ava Demorest and Emma Emnett. Tyana Sudderth had 8stls 8reb 8pnts. Mia Lunsford 6reb 2ast 4pnts. Maddie Penix 8pts. 8th graders Ayrian Bennett had 10reb 2pts & Charlie Cooper 2pt 2stl 1ast.

Improved our summer record to 5 and 1 with an outstanding defense performance holding our opponent to Zero points on the 1st 12 minutes. We have been working hard on our defense for the past couple years and it's starting to show.

Ended our summer season on a good note tonight with 2 wins pushing our record to 7 and 1. Our PG went down in our 2nd game and we played the whole half without her and our team was resilient and came out on top. It showed our growth as a team. We took huge strides this summer.

Another good scrimmage won 3 of 5 qrts and overall against a D3 opponent. Started off tough but settled in and battled. Leaps ahead of last year where in the same situation we would have folded after 1st qrt and lost by 30. Proud of our growth.
