Small businesses are known to innovate at a higher pace. People like that. But for visibility in search engines size matters more.

I'm initiating a competition for greener travel routes. The idea is to speed up the green shift. Routing should be reasonably fast and convenient. Everybody can join. Go to your favorite trip planner, pick the most sustainable route for the trip of the day. You can refine it.

Getting a nice review never hurts.

And here's Google Gemini's response to my suggestion to consider travel sustainability in search engine rankings: "Ranking search results based on sustainability has the potential to be a game-changer for the travel industry... benefits for the environment could be significant"

I asked Bing's Copilot for a more sustainable flight search engine. After specifying that I wanted real emission cuts instead of carbon offsets the AI tool suggested Google Flights, to identify flights with below average emissions. And PanFlights, which "goes a step further".
