At the FBEC meeting on March 3, TDSB staff recommended a “supplement” of 17 teachers for secondary alt schools for 2022-23 program viability. Sadly, the TDSB is predicting that secondary school enrolment will be lower in 2022-2023 impacting the total number of teachers allocated.

The Virtual Secondary Alternative Schools Fair, taking place on November 9, 2022, will introduce families to the Alternative schools in the board that offer Grade 9 to 12 programming. Alternative schools are highly engaged, smaller school environments.
