All those critical of @potus for not getting congressional authorization before attacking Iran are overlooking the historical record that since WW2 99% of the time US presidents have used military force it was without explicit prior approval from Congress.

Call me crazy, but it seems like a real dereliction of duty to vote on a bill that will impact so many in our country just to meet an arbitrary deadline, so it can be signed into law on a 4th of July photo up. Anyone?
