Celebrate Fiestas Patrias with Old Town San Diego State Historic Park! On September 17th, La Casa de Estudillo will have free, hands-on 19th century crafts in commemoration of Mexico's independence from Spain in 1821. Join the fun from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Don't miss it!

Don't forget that this Saturday we will be having crafts in the Casa de Estudillo courtyard to celebrate Fiestas Patrias this year. Kids can come make cascarones and paper flowers from noon until 3 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Want to learn more about Old Town San Diego SHP? Every Thurs. & Fri. join us for a free guided walking tour of the park to see what it was like 200+ yrs ago! The tours begin at the Robinson-Rose Visitor Center at 11 a.m. In-person reservations are required and space is limited.

The weekend of October 29-30 everyone, young & old, will have the opportunity to grab a piece of chalk to create a unique grave marker along San Diego Ave to commemorate the passing of a loved one. Marigold flowers will also be available for purchase to add to your memorial.

Want to start #DíaDeLosMuertos early? Come to the park this weekend to make your mark! In chalk that is. Our #TributesAndSentiments #ChalkGraveyard is back this year, so come get a piece of chalk from 1:30pm - 7pm this Sat/Sun & make a memorial for a loved one who has passed away

Haven't been on one of our Día de los Muertos Altar Tours yet? Don't miss your chance! The last two tours will take place on Nov 1st and 2nd @ 3 p.m., starting at the Robinson-Rose Visitor Center. There is limited space, so make sure to sign up early. Can't wait to see you there!

Happy Almost Thanksgiving! 🦃 Old Town San Diego State Historic Park will be closed Thanksgiving Day, but we will be open again on Friday if you want to come get some exercise walking around the park the day after your Thanksgiving feast.
