Macintosh Color Classic, 1993 The first compact Mac with a Trinitron color display and the last toaster-sized. In the PAL version in France it was named Colour Classic on the casing. After improving the video memory, it could display thousands of colors.

Today is a very sad day for the Apple community Bill Atkinson has died at the age of 74😢 He was Apple employee number 51 and the principal designer and developer of the Lisa GUI. He was also among the first 30 members of the original Apple Macintosh development team. RIP Bill

RIP to Bill Atkinson, one of the greatest programmers who ever lived. At Apple he created MacPaint, QuickDraw, HyperCard and was a critical part of making the Macintosh magic. He co-founded General Magic - go watch that documentary.
