Here is a super-insulated home under construction. The builder is using a 12" NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms with 6" Plus-Series Inserts. An additional 3.5" Homega panel will be added to the outside of the wall after concrete has cured for an impressive whole wall value of approx R-62.

This build utilized NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms One-Series forms that results in concrete on one side & insulation on other. This accomplished 2 goals: exposed architectural concrete walls inside basement & increased thermal performance by bringing the thermal mass of the concrete to the inside.
NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms damp proofing membrane can be used to create both the sill flashing and exterior W&D flashing. If needed, a bent metal flashing can be installed within the exterior EPS foam to provide a shingle-style lap.
Can NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms be used for commercial/agricultural foundations? YES! It is common for ICF to be installed to provide structural strength and a thermal break either on a footing or piles.
