Great piece from Washington Post Opinions calling for full funding of DC’s Initiative 83: “#RankedChoiceVoting is much fairer… than letting anyone who can win a narrow plurality of the vote hold office. It’s also popular in places where it has been implemented.” washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/…

The DC Council voted 8-4 to fund ranked-choice voting after voters backed Initiative 83. Open primaries still await a vote. Huge thanks to our DC volunteers for pushing these reforms forward! #WashingtonDC #RCV #ElectionReform

In February, Trayon White was expelled from the DC Council after being indicted on bribery charges. Yesterday, he won back his seat w/ just 30% of the vote. It’s a reminder of why 73% of DC voters just voted to adopt #RankedChoiceVoting for future elections. Make All Votes Count DC ⬇️

In NYC's primaries, #RankedChoiceVoting gave voters the best of all worlds: A more positive campaign where candidates must reach beyond a small base to win. It's a model for what better elections can look like. See why in my new op-ed for The Fulcrum ⬇️ thefulcrum.us/electoral-refo…

“The real takeaway from NYC's #RankedChoiceVoting primaries isn’t what it means for the Dems, GOP, or midterms. It’s that better elections can empower voters to choose candidates who are accountable to them.” – FairVote's Meredith Sumpter in The Fulcrum thefulcrum.us/electoral-refo…

Only 5.1% of ballots were exhausted after 11 rounds! I think we can completely put to bed the (frankly insulting and condescending) idea that voters somehow can’t understand how to do Ranked Choice Voting.
