Thanks NEWS10 ABC for covering the Back to School Give Back Day at The Barber Lounge in Albany! Kevin (my barber) and his team gave 75+ haircuts and donated school supplies and backpacks to kids in need. Embarking on the bus tour of Oswego with our local, state and federal government partners. Excited to see all the unique places that make this Lake Ontario community such a great destination for residents & visitors alike!

As a history buff, visiting Fort Ontario Historic Site was a great experience! I learned more about its role during various historical events such as the French and Indian War, the American Revolution and that it even served as a refugee camp for Jewish refugees during WWII.

Last stop: Breitbeck Park, overlooking the Oswego Harbor. A shining example of how DOS programs such as the Downtown Revitalization initiative, Brownfield Opportunity Area Program, REDI & Local Waterfront Revitalization Programs can work together to transform communities.
