Authentic Maths took us to the woodwork station where we are designing and making shelving for the walls of our Year 6 shop ‘Y Caban Iach’. Seriously impressed with their carpentry skills. They’ll be fitted and stocked ready for next weeks customers Nerys Tudor Jones EAS STEM

Our sunflowers were getting a bit ‘leggy!’. The pupils had a choice to take them home or plant them in our allotment. They showed pride and care creating a hole, measuring the cane and transplanting it in to its new home. Green fingers day!! EAS Early Years EAS STEM

We used our feet for measuring! After finding out our shoe sizes and making comparisons for fun, we drew chalk shapes on the yard, estimated and measured them by counting our steps from a starting point. We recorded our findings. EAS Early Years EAS Numeracy
