CAS warmly welcomes the first new fellows in 2024: Jennifer Lackey Northwestern Prison Education Program (NPEP) Northwestern is a specialist in social epistemology. She has been invited by #CASresearcher in Residence Mario Günther Mario Günther Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy .


Malik recently graduated from the Northwestern Prison Education Program (Northwestern Prison Education Program (NPEP)) at Stateville Correctional Center, joining a historic first class of incarcerated students earning a bachelor’s degree from a top 10 university. (Credit Monika Wnuk).



Jennifer Lackey has received the Northwestern's 2024 Daniel I. Linzer Award for Faculty Excellence in Diversity and Equity for her leadership with Northwestern Prison Education Program (NPEP), which made history in 2023 when incarcerated students inside Stateville Correctional Center were the first in U.S.



Last week, NPEP Director Jennifer Lackey received the Northwestern 2024 Daniel I. Linzer Award for Faculty Excellence in Diversity and Equity. Students, recent graduates, and many others came to support Lackey, who was honored for her “indefatigable commitment” to NPEP.
