Been a while since our last update, but here is our most recent #COVID surveillance data for the Chicago area. Each bar represents #SARSCoV2 isolates sequenced per week starting on the day shown. BA.5 and BA.4 variants dominating since June. Just 1 BA.2.75 in July.

Our latest COVID-19 sequencing results data from Chicago region. Figures both show the same data represented as number of variants per week of collection or proportion of total per week. Only 3 isolates from last week sequenced so far, but BQ.1 is increasing. No XBB yet.

Chicago-area COVID-19 sequencing update through the week of November 13th. BQ.1 and its BQ.1.1 subvariants continue to increase in proportion relative to other BA.5 lineage variants.
