We've had masonry activity of all sorts down on the East side of our Transporter Bridge. Heritage stonemasons have been recreating rough face stonework to be used in wall restoration along the eastern bank - and in the Anchorage #Garden, Mason #bees have been filling up our bee hotels!


Anchorage buildings on the east and west side of our Transporter Bridge house anchoring bolts for suspension cables supporting the cross-river boom. Built with stone with a finish known as 'rough-facing'. Here's Josh from #AtumStone showing how this was crafted over 100 years ago!

#Bee Friendly? Naaa, it's a 'Bee Frenzy' in our poppy packed #pollinator beds Transporter Bridge #FONTB Keep Wales Tidy East Anchorage Garden! Windy, but our flowers are holding on to their petals and the bees their proboscises - and thankfully in greater numbers than last year!
