A2 Literacy needs to be so much more than questions, scripted answers and void of creativity. We need literacy to become about learning about others, making a difference, creating change, and allowing everyone to build HOPE. All students deserve to have a future. #BuildHOPEedu

A3 Literacy belongs to so many more people than language arts teachers. Literacy is everywhere. Understanding reading, learning to write needs to be fundamental to all courses. Interdisciplinary learning needs to be a priority for our kids. Remove compartments. #BuildHOPEedu

A3: All teachers can champion literacy by integrating reading/writing in every subject, using diverse texts, fostering discussions, and encouraging critical thinking. Literacy is everyone’s responsibility. #BuildHOPEedu
