Well done to this artist for her beautiful poppy artwork for our Norbridge Art Poppy Exhibition last week!

In art this half term, we have learnt about the artist George Segal. Today, after designing our own sculpture and identifying the materials we needed we started to make our own armature.

Our armatures have been created and we are looking forward to the next steps in finishing our sculpture creations.

In art we are experimenting with pressure on polystyrene foam to see how it affects line, colour and texture of our print. Norbridge Art

This term in art our focus is on sculpture, today the children loved learning about form and looked at some pictures of sculptures and connected their maths learning on 3D shape to sculpture work! 👩🏼‍🎨🎨🧑🏻‍🎨 here’s a peak at our current display…
