Ambassador Hans Peter vd Woude today visited SDAIA and met with president Mr. Abdullah Al Ghamdi. 70% of the goals of the Vision 2030 are #AI related. The #Netherlands is keen to explore cooperation on information technology, #AI, smart mobility and smart cities.

Productive meeting with Mr. Saad Alkroud, Chief of Staff at صندوق الاستثمارات العامة and Hans Peter vd Woude . Areas of mutual cooperation on hydrogen, climate neutral real estate, water & horticulture, & responsible business conduct were discussed as well as opportunities for future collaboration.

Ambassador Hans Peter vd Woude hosted a reception to celebrate the opening of Vopak Middle East RHQ in the presence of H.E. Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, SABIC I سابك CEO and Dick Richelle, Vopak CEO. This marks a significant milestone in strengthening the bilateral economic ties.

This morning the consular team of ⁦The Kingdom of the Netherlands in 🇸🇦 هولندا في⁩ traveled to the 🇳🇱 Honorary Consulate in Dammam to provide consular services to 🇳🇱 citizens in the Eastern Province of 🇸🇦. 🙏🏻 HC Mr. Sulaiman Al Suhaimi.

I visited ⁦⁦EnergyTech⁩, a training and certification center in Dammam for young 🇸🇦workers to meet the skills asked for in the private energy industry sector. And yes, I flunked my virtual reality welding test. 🙏🏻 #Bassam_Al_Bukhari for a fascinating tour.
