We had a great week with our U.S. National Science Foundation REU site students hosting high schoolers from Nebraska College Preparatory Academy! Here is a video of our Lego Spike races to cap off a great week learning the basics of coding and robotics. Thanks to Nebraska School of Computing and Nebraska Engineering for all the staff support.

The $250,000 project through the National Strategic Research Institute at the University of Nebraska will leverage the lab’s custom-built “mothership” drone, years of experience and desire to take on the challenge of real-world limitations. ow.ly/SG7v50JVmeF

Today is international justice day. I’ve been thinking a lot about the future possibilities and problems for IJ. I outline some of these in my book and would add the climate crisis, attacks on hr defenders, and misinformation to the list. The work for justice continues.
