Happy White Cane Awareness Day! Former NYSILC Council Chair Kathryn Carroll spoke at the White Cane Awareness Day hosted by the New York State Commission for the Blind about the White Cane being a symbol of disability pride and independent living.

We had a great time yesterday hosting a group of disabled girls and young women who came to Albany with Disability EmpowHer Network for the DREAM (Disability Rights Employment Awareness Month) Symposium!
