Happening now, Arkansas is hearing SB270, a bill that will charge transgender adults with sex crimes for entering being in a bathroom while someone under 18 is also in it. This is one of the worst bills moving in the US targeting trans people. I will cover it live. 🧵

I just watched a trans person give an eloquent speech at a school board meeting, about affirming trans youth, while his unsupportive dad sat directly next to the podium. Trans people shouldn’t have to be so fucking badass but here we are. 🏳️‍⚧️
