Looking forward to the referee applying complete consistency in his decision making when anything is said to him in the second half #SAFC

News coming in from the western spiral arm of the galaxy where economic experts have announced that the continued existence of humanity is not commercially viable theguardian.com/environment/20…

Well that Mowbray sacking was coming, not sure where we go from here. Having someone connected with the north east so strongly was a big part of the restoration of pride. Big couple of weeks for KLD & Speakman. Still better than being owned by a human rights abusing petro state

Beale decision is very disappointing, hope I’m wrong. Mag ticketing decision is the rules of the competition, but badly handled. Not allowing anti sports washing display is disgraceful, but entirely to be expected because billionaires only have solidarity with other billionaires

I wonder if either party will agree to uprate student maintenance loans in line with inflation. The real term cuts the living loans is a real hit to access to those from non-traditional university backgrounds. #ITVdebate

Not a fan of the honours system, but if we are going to have it Steve & Pete are exactly the kind of people we should honour. A real privilege to have worked with them and been a tiny part in the development of kick4life. Congrats gents

There is no greater example I can remember of the depth of embedded power and privilege in the UK as the wailing from the private school sector about a tax loophole hole being closed and the way it is being lapped up uncritically by the (privately educated) media

Electoral system is utterly broken, but it at least appears that the British people have become more efficient in using it

Shouldn’t be a shock, shouldn’t even be notable. But a cabinet filled with serious people who know their briefs, even if I don’t agree with them, is such a massive step forward from the past decade
