On 3/19, Notre Dame Law School Exoneration Justice Clinic & Klau Institute for Civil and Human Rights hosted a fireside chat with exoneree Ben Spencer & Barb Bradley Hagerty, author of "Bringing Ben Home," which examines the criminal justice system & chronicles Spencer’s wrongful conviction & the 34 years he spent in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.

The Death Penalty Information Center calls attention to an important new paper by Klau Institute Director and Notre Dame Law School Professor Jennifer Mason McAward. McAward’s research on Brady violations — a crit­i­cal safe­guard against wrong­ful con­vic­tions — is the largest study ever published on the subject.
