Is it always possible to assign #GeneExpression #CellStates to #SingleCells? Or can biological noise set fundamental limits? In our new work, we show that #CircadianClock states *cannot* be assigned to single cells due to transcriptional noise! tinyurl.com/4uxdxw2k (1/8)

So grateful to have been part of this cohort. The last 10 days were amazing. It was wonderful to interact with so many cool people and make a bunch of new friends. Talking to experts so freely during lunch or over coffee was an experience as surreal and wonderful as it can get.

And being surrounded by people with such diverse and fascinating interests is one of the best things ever— there are so many new perspectives you get to see. There's so much to learn. Thank you #PhysicsOfLife2024! Thank you NCBS! Living Machines-NCBS

Next in line, we have with us Dr. Mukund Thattai, a computational cell biologist from NCBS Bangalore. Join us for his talk as we bring together threads from biology, physics and computer science to weave the story of the past, present and future of cellular life.

What can #singlecell lineage correlations teach us about drug tolerance, timing of #persisters, and how (not) to analyse #barcoding data? A lot that is counterintuitive!
