Pretty ridiculous the path it took to get there but Latu Fainu isn’t a Plan B or a consolation prize and never has been. Anyone who follows any level besides the NRL has known that for a long time.

Ugly ending and lack of experience evident as game went on but stoked they’ve been able to break the losing streak. Another game decided on the last play, finally going WT way.

Benji Marshall was very strong in his press conference. When asked about juniors being let go, he said "we didn't let any juniors go, they didn't want to be here... we want guys that want to be here like the Fainu's and Luke Laulilii, they wanna be here". #NRL

WT have upset 2nd placed Canberra 26-24 this afternoon. WT trailed 24-16 with 4(!!) minutes remaining. Tino Tavana the hero, with a try on full time, and a conversion after the full time siren to win it #JerseyFlegg

Tries in the final 2 sets of the game to Iverson Matai and Tino Tavana to overturn an 8 point deficit. Salvaged a draw on the final play 3 weeks ago, suffered a late loss last week, W today. Some context, Canberra came in 12-3 and were undefeated in 8 games. #JerseyFlegg

Tigers have rarely played straight this year, but the few times they have it has unlocked Samuela’s running game (unsurprisingly all involve Latu)

Hopefully we get to see Jahream/Jarome/Latu/Api at least once this year. Small sample size in the final 20 vs Canberra which looked good

Felt for Luke today. Hope he drops back to Cup if they’re going to persist with the centre experiment. Thought it was the very obvious weak link and the Roosters went there more and more as they were chasing points
