Starmer’s attack on welfare actually affects every single bank account holder in the UK. Because a “Public Authorities” Bill - mostly ignored by the media - is quietly going through parliament that introduces mass bank spying under the premise of dealing with welfare errors ⬇️

People keep talking about u-turns. I don’t care about u-turns, I care that the ideas took root to start with. That some of the things Labour have suggested are even on the table to start with. They appear to no longer be a party for the people and I don’t have one to vote for.
