Good run out for the lads today against a well organised and resolute Hesketh Bank Res side. Showed good character to come for 2 goals behind early on and take a 4-2 lead before tired legs got the better of us and the game finished 5-4. A great showing of football from both sides

A tough one to take today, after taking the lead twice against Daten Football Club Reserves, they managed to pull themselves back into it quickly after on both occasions, before adding a 3rd shortly after. We had a host of late chances but couldn’t quite find the net for a 3rd time. FT 3-2.

Yesterdays away game against Broadheath Central FC Reserves, so us run out 3-0 victors in our second league game. A frantic first half, meant we took a 1-0 lead going into half time. A much more dominant second half meant we extended our lead and get our first 3 points of the season!
