Nasir Snell becomes the 9th Spackenkill Boys Basketball player to score 1,000 career points. Congratulations Nas!

Congrats to Nasir Snell for scoring his 1000 point tonight! What a great accomplishment. So happy that he got to do it on senior night! Special night!!!!

Nasir Snell scored 28 points, including the 1,000th of his career, while leading the Spackenkill boys basketball team in a 71-45 win over Wallkill. The senior became the ninth Spartan to reach that milestone. Kris Cummings added 20 points and six rebounds for Spackenkill (16-3).

1000 points on senior night…Thanks to my parents for putting a basketball in my hands at a young age, thank you to the coaches that worked with me, and thank you to all the teammates I had throughout my playing time!

Nasir Snell scored 13 of his 33 points in the second quarter, leading No. 3 Spackenkill in a 58-32 win over No. 6 Port Jervis in a Section 9 Class A boys baksetball quarterfinal. Kris Cummings added 12 points. Spackenkill advances to face Marlboro or Saugerties at 6 pm Wednesday.
