Namibia’s national men and women’s hockey teams have both qualified for the 2025 Hockey AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) during the group stages of the the Central-Southern Africa qualifiers in Harare, Zimbabwe🏑

After consultation/approval of International Hockey Federation aiming at portraying Africa's young talents in the JWC qualifiers to select top 3 nations per gender to qualify to the JWCs (Dec. '25), and after discussions among 24 NAs at the AfHF Forum held on 7 Nov. '24, JAC now shifted to Apr. 2025
