🆕 ICU #OnePager 📟 on intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP). Explains how🎈 balloon pumps work, what the 🫀 hemodynamic effects are, & how/why to adjust settings 🎛️(augmentation, trigger, timing, etc). As a bonus it explains why they use helium gas to inflate the balloon.
