.NALCO Foundation,Connecting Community celebrated #InternationalYouthDay in partnership with HelpAge India at Thuria SSD college in Pottangi, Odisha on the theme "Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a world for all Ages", to generate awareness among young minds. Pralhad Joshi Ministry of Mines

Carrying forward our CSR theme of “Caring and Sharing”, our M&R Complex at Damanjodi distributed education facilitation kits to students of OAV, Kotia. Each KIT consisted of a school bag, pair of shoes, raincoat, socks, water bottle & other amenities. Pralhad Joshi Ministry of Mines
NALCO Mines has always striven to improve greenery. As part of the efforts, seedlings were distributed at Village Girliput by Mines & NALCO Foundation,Connecting Community officials. Also interaction was done with villagers & school students. 5000 fruit bearing seedlings were distributed in villages.
Providing the wings to fly! Under our Flagship Residential Education Programme 'Indradhanush', 33 children from tribal-dominated areas near M&R unit in Damanjodi & Pottangi were sent to KISS - Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, Bhubaneswar for admission into class 1 & 2. Four Mobile Health Units were flagged off in 163 peripheral villages of Mines & Refinery Unit in Damanjodi, to provide doorstep delivery of healthcare services. As part of Swachhata Pakhwada, cleanliness drive-cum-awareness activities were undertaken by S&P Unit, Angul in association with NALCO Foundation,Connecting Community at Kulad UP School.
