People don't realize the cost of promoting an unknown brand until it becomes part of everyday language. Though using an EMD is also not a complete solution, a happy medium can be achieved by having both till you scale.

In other words, the shorter the domain, the higher the recall. While prefixes and suffixes are common, if you truly want to stand out, use the root word.

Domainers don't seem to do math. L = 26 LL = 676 LLL = 17,576 LLLL = 456,976 LLLLL = 11,881,376 LLLLLL = 308,915,776 4L or fewer are not available for hand reg, so commoditized. 5L and 6L, even patterns, are available, so not rare. Domains must have intrinsic value.

Can't beat the truth - the numbers speak for themselves, but then all the sales reports have been telling us this for a long time - .com accounts for 80%+ of all reported sales. Though ccTLDs do really well too! Even .ai is a ccTLD btw so they do ~7x of all new gtlds!!
