The insistence on having members of the Courts martial appointed by the UPDF High Command renders the whole process of amendment futile and a waste of time.

But Judiciary Uganda is such a collection of jokers. How does a magistrate sentence an individual to 15 months for ‘annoying the president’? Was competence dispensed as a requirement for appointment of judicial officers?
