Following a tie of votes for Gwazayi Julius and Nemaunga Paddington, Lots were cast which has seen Nemaunga Paddington duly elected Mutasa RDC's Chairperson. He is deputised by Baradza Regina a female councilor of ward 6 Mutasa.

Manyawu village footbridge across the Odzi River. This project was funded and constructed by the Zimbabwe Africa Trust, with the Council providing designs, assisting with site selection and inspection. This will benefit mostly school children and the public in General.
