We recently fulfilled a reprographic request for the Montaigne book for Prof O'Brien. Really interesting to read this resulting blog post. #Digitisation #Digitising

We came across this letter (13th July 1897) in the Wardell Archive MU Special Collections & Archives It's a handwritten copy of the original. The paper is faded but the text is still legible. R. Lewis, Governor of St Helena acknowledges that the 24th Regiment will be relieved by the 88th Regiment.
