just ended! for anyone that didn't tune in we talked about: - blob aggregation's benefits for L2s - how blob sharing impacts Ethereum - short medium and long term predictions The recording is available below! Big thanks to our guests!

What are the best resources to learn about quadratic funding and it's impact on participation? I've been thinking a lot about crowdsourcing/fundraising because of the Team Water event.

After trying gpt-5 for coding the past few weeks I can confidently say that it is a regression from sonnet or gemini 2.5 pro paired with a super fast model like qwen3 coder or kimi k2. Really sad because I want to like it so much, some of it's behavior is really helpful.

“By leveraging shared infrastructure, at some point, being a Based rollup would become more cost-effective than rollups having a centralized sequencer. Blob aggregation is the first step.” — Lin Oshitani from Nethermind

How does it work? The Pylon coordinator runs nodes for the chains within your sync zone, including the base layer L2 and your appchain. Pylon intercepts transactions as they stream in and detects if the transaction is attempting to make a cross chain call. Next, it simulates

We are excited to announce the most sophisticated platform for synchronous composability that the world has ever seen. Cross chain contract calls between any centralized sequencer L2 and a custom Pylon L3 are now supported.

Pylon is the first step in reducing the overhead that appchains impose on developers. Pylon provides an incredible primitive for composability: synchronous and atomic cross chain contract calls.

Spire is breaking a deadlock in L2 design exploration. It might not be as easy to build apps on this stack as on a monolithic chain, but it should definitely be easier to spin up your own custom appchain there than to maintain a sovereign app-driven L2. I want to see more of it!
