I am so proud and relieved to finally say I’ve officially passed all my Praxis exams ! I passed my last one, social studies multiple subjects ! One step closer to being an educator ! 👩🏻‍🏫✏️❤️

Today was my first day of student teaching in a kindergarten class at Brunswick Acres ES !! I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me! 👩🏻‍🏫❤️

Happy Friday! 😊My first week of student teaching was a success! I was able to go into the classroom today and can’t wait until some of the students come in to start in-person on Monday!!

We learned about polar bears today! After we read a story I did a directed drawing with the students of a polar bear, they loved it! ❄️

Huge thank you to Jay Billy & Chris Turnbull for coming to our Rider University KDP event tonight! As a current student teacher, it was so beneficial to hear their tips and advice for interviewing !

Happy Friday! During snack time today one of my kindergarteners wanted to tell me some jokes and it certainly brought a smile to my face! Here’s one of the many she shared with me to brighten your night: “What did one plate say to the other?” “Dinner’s on me!” 😂

I am so excited to share that I have officially passed edTPA!!🎉 Thank you to everyone at Rider College of Education & Human Services for all the guidance ! I am one step closer to becoming a certified educator!! ❤️

Thankful for this warm weather today! In kindergarten we took advantage of the nice weather and brought our science lesson outside! We observed motion in nature and the students were so excited to find many examples around the school!😊

“We won the lottery with you as our student teacher!” Today was my last day of student teaching and I truly can’t believe it’s over🥺. I’m so incredibly grateful for all the memories and growth I’ve made as a teacher in my time here ! ❤️ Next stop: graduation! 🎓

I graduated from Rider University on Saturday ! I can’t believe how fast the time has gone !! Extremely grateful for all the memories I’ve made here! I’m ready to take on my own classroom !🎓❤️
