🚨Upstander🚨You may recognize Mrs. Tareen’s Upstander from earlier this year. He was spotted sitting w a classmate who was sitting alone at lunch. “Don’t sit alone and be lonely,” he said.Why does he continue to do it?“To give them happiness”.

🚨Upstander🚨“He was chosen by a kindergartener to be his bus buddy! He is committed to learning about his new pal and is dedicated to his new role!” This 5th gr from Ms. Rose was nominated by two different adults who noticed their patience & kindness. BRILLIANT!

🚨Upstander🚨In Anna Davitt 4th gr, students earn⭐️for various things like helping others."She saved her⭐️ALL YEAR to cash in for the biggest reward: a class pet.She wanted everyone in the class 2 enjoy our new Betta fish and worked hard to earn “Willie” all by herself!” AMAZING!

Munchkins were eaten, shout-outs shared, accomplishments celebrated (a shout out from Francisco Durán, Ed.D. - WOAH!) and reflections on a semester full of amazing projects were recorded at our final meeting of the Maureen Nesselrode Upstanders Club! 🐢

We hear a lot about getting back the green zone. To successfully implement the Zones with your learners we encourage using the language “taking care of our Zones,” OR “managing our Zones” so learners don’t feel pressure to be in or get back to the Green Zone. #zonesofregulation
